Early Life

About 2 years before Sourav’s birth, his father had come to Delhi for work. After searching for a lot of work, when he could not get any good work, he started working as a laborer to support the family’s expenses. Sourav’s father used to work very hard to run the expenses of the whole family.

After spending a few years in Delhi, his entire family moved to Hansi, Haryana. In Hansi, Sourav’s father started doing POP work in the house. In this work, his father used to get a decent income. The result of many years of hard work was that he took a house in Hansi.

Apart from Hansi, he had also changed many houses, because his father’s work was changing from place to place.

Education

Sourav was good in his studies but due to frequent changes in school, his studies could not be done properly. During school, Sourav used to dream of getting admission to IIT but his marks in 12th were very less. Due to this his becoming an IITian got canceled.

Now Sourav started worrying a lot about his future, he could not understand what he should do next. He sought advice from some people regarding his further studies, and he was advised by a relative that he should prepare for architecture.

Sourav liked this advice, after which he went to Delhi to prepare for it. After 1 year of coaching in Delhi, he had learned a lot but he could not get selected anywhere.

Sourav’s drawing had become very good, but due to a lack of selection from Delhi, he came back home. Even after working hard for a long time, Sourav was still there and now he started worrying more about his future.

Sourav had even thought that now he will do the same work as his father and will help his father in running the household expenses. But in the meantime, Sourav’s friend Shubham saw Sourav’s sketches and drawings..

He liked both the sketch and drawing of Sourav. Shubham said to Sourav, your drawing and sketching are very good, you should show this skill to the world, and you should make a YouTube channel.

YouTube Journey

Sourav started an Art YouTube channel following Shubham’s (his friend) advice. In July 2017, Sourav uploaded his first video in which he made 2000 notes in pencil color. Sourav uploaded a lot of sketches and drawing videos in a few days.

But the views on his video were very less. Sourav started the YouTube channel with some other name but later he changed its name to Sourav Joshi Arts.

There was no growth on Sourav’s channel, but he was continuously engaged or connected to it. Sourav had uploaded hundreds of videos in a few months, but even after uploading so many videos, he had only two and a half thousand subscribers.

But even with such slow growth, Sourav did not give up at all. Sourav got the idea one day to make sketches of trending people and this idea was very useful for him.

Now Sourav started making videos on trending people and many of his videos became viral. His channel started growing well. Within a little time, his got a lot of subscribers. Along with making sketching and drawing videos, Sourav used to shoot videos like this with his family members.

But he did not upload these videos. But after seeing the famous YouTube Vlogger Flying Beast, Sourav got the idea that why not upload a Vlog video as well? Inspired by Flying Beast, Sourav also started uploading Vlog videos, mostly family Vlogs.

Career

This channel Sourav grew very fast and soon got monetized. But every time the address verification failed, his channel got demonetized.

He made the channel, again and again, and the same thing happened for the second time. The address verification failed and the channel was demonetized again. Even after so many problems, Sourav did not give up and he made the third channel.

This time his channel got monetized and then he also started getting payment from YouTube. Now both the channels of Sourav are growing well.
