Elvish Ravsahab was born on 14 September 1997 in Teejara, Alwar, Rajasthan in a Hindu Ahir middle class family. Elvish is already famous in the world of social media because of YouTube and his comedy videos. But he came into limelight when he made a wild card entry in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. Early Life and Education
Elvish Yadav completed his schooling from Amity International School, Gurgaon, Haryana. He was very good in studies from the beginning, he passed his 12th with 96%.
Due to which his family members had a special dream of his mother that her son clear UPSC and become IAS.
After intermediate, he continued his B.Com degree studies from Delhi University’s Hansraj College. Where he used to live in the same apartment with many of his friends at that time.
This was the time when YouTubers like Bhuvan Bam, Ashish Chanchlani, Harsh Beniwal were rocking YouTube and entertaining the people.
In 2016 he liked the videos of Ashish Chanchlani very much. That’s why he also started making his videos on the same lines.
Career
Elvish created his channel Elvish Yadav/ The Social Factory on 29 April 2016. He also started uploading his videos on YouTube channel. But the views on his videos did not come as much as expected.
But he was very smart, so he used to upload these videos on YouTube as well as on Facebook. With time, his videos also started going viral on Facebook. But this viral video getting viral not from his own Facebook page but from another Facebook page Laughing Colour.
Where his videos were uploaded without credit. But whatever it was, people were now getting to know him. His reach on YouTube was not the same as it was on Facebook. So he thought of switching his contact to YouTube and started making prank videos.
Because prank channels were at the peak in 2016-17. But he started getting very few views in these prank videos. But he did not back down from the failure of his videos. Still he kept on making videos non-stop. But even after 1 year, he did not get the satisfaction he wanted.
He had also made up his mind to quit YouTube. Then one of his friends suggested to him that you have to give a little Haryanvi touch to your videos. Videos have to be made in your own language. Only then will the audience be able to relate to your contact.
This thing of their friendship influenced them and they made their videos in Haryanvi language and presented them. Which was slowly liked by the audience.
He had come to know what type of contact the audience wanted from him. After that, he started with the same type of contacts that used to target the youth. Along with his time, the content and quality also started increasing.
Even his team had become very big. In which the now famous Half Engineer, Kirti Mehra, Honey Sharma, Avnish Singh, and Jatin Sharma have also been part of their team on YouTube. Who used to be his college friend too.
Seeing the chemistry between Kirti and Elvish, many people came to know that both of them are in a relationship. Not only this, even in Bigg Boss, Elvish has confessed that he has a girlfriend without naming anyone.
But he didn’t reveal who she was. Now his vlogging channel was also started and some views also started coming in his main channel. Because during this time he also started making roasting videos.
By the end of 2019, he had become a well known YouTuber who used to make comedy videos and occasionally roast celebrities.
But the turning point of his YouTube career came on 18 April 2020. When Elvish made a roasting video on some TikTokers. In which he roasted big TikTokers of that time like Aashika Bhatia and Aamir Siddiqui.
Being offended by this, many TikTokers made videos against Elvish. But the most unique video came out in the reply video of Aamir Siddiqui. Who started saying bad things on YouTube. The YouTube vs TikTok trend started.
TikTokers from TikTok one side and YouTubers from the other side. Started making many reply videos in return for Elvish’s support or say reply. In which the whole system got hung up due to the entry of a few minutes.
In a line, Elvish is the reason why TikTok was banned in India in June 2020 due to a roast video. By the way, his controversy is not only with TikTokers but also with many other YouTubers.

Due to his immense popularity, he got a wild card entry in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. As soon as he entered the Bigg Boss house, he emerged as everyone’s friend’s favorite contestant.
And he also became the winner of Bigg Boss 12 by entering in the finale with his friend Fukra Insan. And became India’s first wild card entry contestant who won Bigg Boss.
