Early Life and Education
Yogesh Rokde completed his schooling from Rajendra High School Khapa, Nagpur, Maharashtra. Which is a Marathi medium school. Being the younger son in the family, he started being compared with elder siblings.
Because both of them were very good in studies and on the other hand both of their parents were teachers. Due to which people would have hoped that Yogi would also be fine in studies. Well Yogi was an average student in studies since childhood.
He loved listening to music and watching movies. After completing high school, he did intermediate about 8 km from his village from Bhalerao Science College Saoner, Maharashtra from science stream.
After passing 12th, worrying about his future, his father asked him, son, what have you planned to do in the future?. On this Yogi said, “I want to become a musician.” His father could not digest this thing at all. Because at that time it was not considered right to consider or choose music as a career.
But due to his hobby of photography and watching movies, he had made up his mind that he has to make his career in this field. During this, he came to know about the College of Animation Bio Engineering and Research Center Amravati through an advertisement.
He requested his father for his admission in this college that he also has to go to this institute. But his father was not liking all this at all. But his mother knew that Yogi’s mind was engaged in things like music and animation.
She convinced Yogi’s father that if the son is doing so many requests, then at least get him admission. This course was actually related to animation and graphic designing. Where he had gained a lot of knowledge from 2007 to 2009. He had made up his mind that he would do something further in this field.
YouTube Journey
Yogesh Rokde created his first YouTube channel in 2008 under the name “Yash Rokde” to showcase his animation work and design related contacts. Yes, his nickname is also Yash which his friends call him by this name.
When he was 18 years old, he also got a job in Amravati, Maharashtra during his education. Where he used to teach courses related to graphic designing to children in a computer institute. Due to which he was able to meet his monthly expenses. On top of that, he didn’t want the family members to face any financial burden because of him.
Staying in Nagpur i.e. in 2009, he also did a course in 3D animation and video editing. After this Yogi went to Hyderabad and specialized in graphic design. While living in Hyderabad, he got a job as a senior graphic designer at Ramoji Rao Film City.
Which was really a big deal. When his father came to know that he had got a job in Ramoji Rao Film City, his happiness knew no bounds. But as the days passed in the job, Yogi felt that he was doing just the same thing every day. Also, his senior or HOD was not seeing any value in his creativity.
Yogi was not at all satisfied with this. He left this job after about 2 months. The artist inside him was just saying that understand your own value. After resigning from the job, during this time he got a call from Arena Animation Ludhiana for the position of Graphic Designer Trainer.
Where he had to teach the subjects related to his field to the students. So there he worked as a trainer for 5 years in Ludhiana, i.e from 2012 to 2017. During this he worked on many E-projects.
Voice Over Journey
His voice is very good while he is also a good singer. Due to which there were many such projects in which he had to give his voice to many animated characters. That’s when he realized that his voice is good enough for voice dub. The desire for dubbing started awakening in him.
Staying there, Yogesh also started dubbing. He would have a great desire to know the dubbing artist behind any dubbed movie. Started searching about the dubbing artist of almost every famous movie. He would find out which artist has given voice to this character.
Whenever he used to ask his students, “Do you recognize the hidden voices behind the dubbed movie, who has given them the voice too?” But sadly no one can know which dubbing artist has given voice to these characters. He felt that “If I ever go into the field of dubbing in the future, no one will recognize me by doing this.”
With this thought and to bring the voice artist in front of the audience, in 2016, he changed the name of his fame-stopping YouTube channel to Talent Tadka. Where he used to collect clips of all the voice artists from various video sources, compile them and upload them on YouTube.
As soon as he uploaded such content, his channel started growing in an unexpected way. Within short time his 100k subscribers were also completed.
Yogesh Rokde Career
One of his videos became quite viral. But they did not know that money can also be earned from YouTube. After monetizing his channel, he also created a funny dubbing video by himself. Which has reached the trending section of YouTube.
When he earned his first YouTube during this time, he came to know how much potential there is in YouTube. Whatever contacts he made during that time, he used to get very good views.
So keeping the niche of his channel intact and without following the guidelines of YouTube, he started picking up videos from different sources and uploading them in the form of compilation videos. Due to which he started getting very good views and good income.
Due to which he left his job in Ludhiana and came back to Nagpur. Everything was going well in life but in 2019 monetization of his channel stopped under the new rules of YouTube. Because his channel was violating the policy under repeated content. Due to which his only source of earning also stopped.
He was quite worried as to what would happen next. His elder brother also approached him for the job of a senior graphic designer in his company. He had one more chance to turn on the monetization of his channel.
That’s why he deleted about 42 videos from his channel which were not his own contacts. After reapplying the monetization request of his channel, he also modified his content structure and started facecam videos. After the QNA video, he uploaded his first facecam video with the title 50 Celebrity Voices in Hollywood.
On this video very good views came. Due to which he got more confidence to make more facecam videos. There were benefits of doing so many facecam videos that within 2 months the monetization of his channel was also turned on.
At the same time, people also came to know who is bringing the dubbing industry to the audience. The artists on whom Yogi used to create content, he also started sending direct messages to them to promote us.
He was well acquainted with the famous dubbing artist Rajesh Kava of the dubbing industry. Due to which his contacts have now increased a lot in the dubbing industry. After getting good recognition, Yogesh made his first live dubbing video with Sanket Mhatre.
After that he made a live dubbing video with Sonal Kaushal and even Rajesh Khattar, the official voice of Ironman. This content was quite unique on YouTube. Due to which the growth of his channel was getting very fast. On 2 October 2019, he also created a new channel of his own called “Katha Nayak”.
In which he used to tell the story. Being a movie lover, he created his own movie channel “Yogi Bolta Hai” in October 2020, inspired by Badal Yadav i.e. BNFTV. In which he started his channel with the review of the movie “Laxmi”.
Due to his honest and on point reviews, this channel of his also started moving forward at a very decent pace. People started liking their reviews which are very good. Due to which the reach of his channel increased to those people who like to see the review before watching the movie.
