Early Life
Sumedh is fondly called Suma by many close friends and family members. Apart from his parents, there are two brothers in Sumedh’s family. Sumedh was very fond of dance since childhood and that is why he became a good dancer at a very young age.
Sumedh never took any professional training in dance. Be it dancing or acting, his family has always supported him fully. He had come from Pune to Mumbai to make a career in dance in his teenage.
Sumedh was rejected from some dancing reality shows in the beginning, after which he was very broke. But with the support of his family, he soon got back on track.
Sumedh says that everything was not as easy as it seems. I also worked for ₹100 in Struggle Time. Then in Mumbai, she participated in a Marathi dance reality show Dance Maharashtra Dance.
He was selected in this after the audition, which he has always considered a big achievement. After this show, Sumedh auditioned in Dance India Dance Season 4 and got selected here too.
In this show, Sumedh got a lot of praise from the audience and judges, and one of the judges Shruti Merchant also gave him the title of Beating which was a big deal for him.
Sumedh was the third runner-up of the Dance India Dance show. Even though he could not win this season, he got a lot of fame due to reaching the finals. Sumedh is also known for his naughty nature today.

Career
After performing well in Dance India Dance, Sumedh got an offer from Channel V to act in a dance-based show Dil Dosti Dance. Then Sumedh’s acting career started from here. He played the role of Raghav in this show.
After this Sumedh got an offer to work in Samrat Ashoka who came on Colors TV. Sumedh played the role of Yuvraj Sushim in this show which was a negative role. Sumedh gained a lot of recognition from this show. In those days, Sumedh also got a chance to work in a Marathi movie.
This movie was Ventilator in which Sumedh played a cameo role. After this Sumedh was offered another Marathi movie named Majha in which he got a chance to play the lead role. Sumedh got the biggest and never-called recognition from the role of Shri Krishna in the Radha Krishna serial aired on Star Bharat.
This role of his was so influential that the image of Sumedh has become like the real Shri Krishna in the people. It has proved to be a huge super-hit show.
Starting on 1st October 2018, it is still aired on Star Bharat and the Hotstar app. The fan following of this show is one of the top TV shows in India.
Sumedh has played the character of Shri Krishna and Mallika Singh has played the character of Radha in this show. Sumedh, who started his career as a dancer, has become a famous actor in the TV and Film industry today.
