Ameesha Patel (born 9 June 1975) in Mumbai, Maharashtra is an Indian actress who has appeared in Hindi and Telugu films. Patel made her Hindi cinema debut in 2000 with her first film “Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai” and the same film became famous.
This film proved to be a blockbuster film. She was also awarded the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. He rose to popularity with films such as “Badri” and the blockbuster “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha”, for which he won the Filmfare Special Performance Award.
However, after starring in “Humraaz” and “Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai”, Patel’s career was downturned.
After that, in 2007 he played supporting roles in films like “Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd”, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa”, and 2013 “Race 2” which were quite successful films.

Education
She attended the Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai, where she excelled as head girl in the academic year 1992–93. Ameesha then studied Bio-Genetic Engineering from Tufts University in Boston, USA before starting her studies in Economics.
After completing her education, Ameesha started her career as an economic analyst at Khandwala Securities Limited.
However, his passion for acting made him join Satyadev Dubey’s theater group, where he acted in various plays including the Urdu play “Neelam”.
