Shakti Mohan is a contemporary dancer as well as an actress and choreographer. Apart from this, she has also appeared in the role of a judge in many dance reality shows.

Shakti Mohan is an Indian Dancer, Choreographer, Actress, and Television Personality. Shakti appeared as a contestant in Dance India Dance and won the title of winner of this show. She has also appeared in Dance Plus 1,2,3,4,6 as a mentor. She has also hosted many dance shows. In 2013, she worked as an assistant choreographer in Dhoom 3.

She worked as a choreographer in Padmavat in 2018 and Shamshera in 2022. Amidst all this, she got her real identity from the stage of Dance Plus where she and Raghav Juyal were well-liked in a flirty style. Shakti Mohan was born on 12 October 1985 in Delhi.

Shakti Mohan Family

Her mother’s name is Kusum and her father’s name is Brijmohan. Apart from her parents, Shakti lives with her three sisters. The names of his three sisters are Neeti Mohan, Mukti Mohan, and Kriti Mohan. Shakti’s sister Mukti Mohan is Bharatanatyam, a jazz, ballet, and hip hop dancer. 

Shakti started a dance brand named Nritya Shakti in the year 2011. Neeti Mohan is the eldest of the four sisters. She is known as a successful singer in Bollywood. She has given many superhit songs of Bollywood.

These include Ishq Wala Love and Jiya Re. If we talk about Kriti Mohan, the youngest sister of the Mohan Sisters, then Kriti has not stepped into the world of Bollywood.

But she is making her name in the engineering world. Kriti has made her career as a software engineer. Shakti’s childhood was spent in her home town Delhi. But since 2006 she has been living in Mumbai. Shakti has spent most of her life in Pilani.

Shakti started her education at Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, a boarding school. After this Shakti did a Master of Arts in Political Science. Shakti did her education from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

Shakti first wanted to become an IAS officer. But as she got older, his interest came in dance. Hard work and luck took him to Bollywood and TV through the way of Dance India Dance.

Shakti has also done a Diploma in Dance from Terence Lewis Dance Foundation Scholarship in the year 2009. 

Shakti Mohan Career

Shakti Mohan had become a contemporary dancer after obtaining a diploma in dance. That’s why Shakti participated in the Dance India Dance Competition.

Here her dance was liked from the very beginning. By the show’s end, she had become a huge fan following. Then Shakti became the winner of DID Season 2.

With this win, Shakti got around Rs 50 lakh as a cash prize. Along with this, she also got the Wagonr car as the winner of this program. In this way, her confidence increased further.

She emerged as a shining star from the country’s biggest dance reality show. After this Shakti participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa which is aired on the Colors TV channel.

Shakti became one of the top 3 contestants in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. After this Shakti judged the show along with Dharmesh Yelande and Puneet Pathak in the popular dance show Dance Plus.

The show was hosted by Raghav Juyal, famous for slow-motion dance in India. After this Shakti Mohan also did a program named Nritya Shakti.

She also did many dance workshop tours. Shakti worked in Dil Dosti Dance for three seasons from 2011 to 2015.

Apart from all this, Shakti has also worked in Saroj Khan’s Nachle Ve, Ram Milaye Jodi, Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki, Ek HazaaronMein Meri Behna Hai, Dancing Superstar, Dance India Dance Super Moms, Boogie Boogie, Dance Singapore Dance, Dance Plus.

She has also worked in Dance Plus 2, Dance Plus 3, Dance Plus 4, and Dance Plus 6. Talking about Shakti’s Bollywood career, Shakti thought of trying her luck in films and made her move toward Bollywood.

The big films in which Shakti acted include High School Musical 2 in 2010 and Tees Maar Khan. Who gave Shakti a platform in Bollywood.

Shakti has also done an item number in Rowdy Rathor in the song Aa Re Pritam Pyare. Then in the year 2013, Shakti worked as an assistant choreographer in the movie Dhoom 3.

Shakti choreographed a song in the 2018 big film Padmaavat, the song was Nainowale ne. Shakti once worked with the BBC on the Collaboration Culture Project. In this, Shakti gave a live performance of 4 minutes. 

It was rumored that Shakti Mohan was dating Puneet Pathak after the shoot of Dance India Dance Season 2. It was also reported that Puneet was going to propose Pathak Shakti in DID Season 2.

But Shakti rubbished all these rumors and said that they are just good friends. There is nothing more between them than that.

Along with this, the name of Shakti was also associated with Amar Kunwar. But Shakti did not get involved in any controversy much.

Most of the names of Shakti Mohan are associated with Raghav Juyal. Many people consider these two to be a couple. Because their bonding is like a couple during TV shows.

But Shakti Mohan has cleared many times in interviews that Raghav is very mischievous and she is like my brother. There is no such relation between us. But people still consider them both as a couple.

The film Mohenjodaro was released during the Dance Plus show itself. Hrithik Roshan came to the store for the promotion of this movie. Then Shakti expressed his feelings for Hrithik.

She said that she misses his teenage days. When she was not only a fan of the blue-eyed Hrithik Roshan, but Hrithik used to be Shakti’s crush then.

Regarding his crush, Shakti said with great enthusiasm that like other girls, I was also a big fan of Hrithik sir. There were many posters of Hrithik on the walls of the hostel room of my boarding school.

In which she did not even let anyone touch. When Hrithik got married, my heart was broken. But today when she is standing in front of me, some other kind of feeling is coming.
