Who is Dheeraj Dhoopar?

Dheeraj Dhoopar is an Indian actor and television presenter. Dheeraj was born on 20 December 1984 in Delhi. After completing his schooling and college, Dheeraj did a diploma in fashion design.

Apart from his parents, he has two brothers and a sister in his family. 

Dheeraj Dhoopar Early Life

A child, he was neither fond of acting nor did he dream of becoming an actor. Dheeraj loved playing cricket since childhood and his dream was to become a cricketer.

Dheeraj used to be the captain of the cricket team in his school. After that, when he grew up slowly, he felt that I had to do something international.

Then after a lot of hard work, Dheeraj got a job in the Air Force. Then he worked in the airline for several years. While sharing an interesting anecdote, Dheeraj tells that once he was flying with Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan.

While taking the interview, Dheeraj asked a question to Saif Ali Khan: How did you become an actor?

Simultaneously, Dheeraj said sir give me some advice too. So Saif Ali Khan said that you come to Mumbai and he did not say anything more than this. He got some interest in acting.

Dheeraj says that there was a time when I didn’t even know anything about acting. But today I have become the life of the audience. Dheeraj says that he wanted to be a model at the start.

But due to his height, it could not be possible. Later he thought it right to make a career in the acting field. Shortly after, Dheeraj started giving auditions. In the initial days, Dheeraj did a lot of ads commercials.

He has done more than 125 commercial ads till now. His first show was Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, he auditioned for this show from Delhi itself.

After that, he shifted from Delhi to Mumbai. After shifting from 1 month, the shoot did not happen and the show got delayed. During that time, Dheeraj kept building his body.

But the interesting thing is that even after getting the first show, Dheeraj kept his job on hold for 3 months.

Dheeraj still laughs a lot while sharing the fact that my wish was to find a good home in Mumbai and not to find work.

He played the role of Ansh in the serial Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg. After that worked in many serials like Zindagi Kahe – Smile Please and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.

But he got popularity only from the show Sasural Simar Ka. He played the character of Prem in Sasural Simar Ka. He got a lot of recognition from this show. However, due to this show, the relationship between Dheeraj and Deepika was not good.

Both had stopped talking to each other. Dheeraj has always believed that I do not have the same thing as other actors. The specialty in Dheeraj was that no matter what the circumstances, he did not stop smiling.

He went ahead with full confidence. He has been very cheerful since childhood. He had a habit of laughing and making people laugh. That is why Dheeraj is very ahead in his life today. 

Dheeraj Dhoopar Married Life 

Dheeraj got married to his all-time girlfriend Vinny Arora on 16 November 2016. Vini and Dheeraj met in 2009 on the sets of Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg.

Since then both are together. Dheeraj considers Vinny to be the lady luck of his life. He says that ever since Vinny came into his life, his luck changed. That is why today he has settled in the hearts of the people. 

Dheeraj Dhoopar Career 

In the year 2017, Dheeraj got the biggest show of his life. Ekta Kapoor came into his life and he changed the horoscope part of his life. Dheeraj plays lead actor Karan Luthra in Kundali Bhagya.

This show has brought him a lot of popularity. His naughty nature with Preeta i.e. Shraddha Arya is very much liked by the audience. Dheeraj’s life completely changed with Kundali Bhagya.

From this show, Dheeraj also started feeling that yes, he is really no less than an actor. But Dheeraj still says that I have yet to learn a lot in my life.

Ever since Dheeraj appeared in the Kundali Bhagya serial, the number of his fans kept on increasing. 

Not knowing how many girls from the Kundali Bhagya serial have a crush on Dheeraj. Due to his naughty talk and acting, the audience liked him very much.

Even today people give him as much love as he has always given. He is more emotional than Dheeraj, a cheerful type of person.

He gets emotional very soon. Dheeraj’s father is a heart patient, Dheeraj says that 19 years ago his father had a first heart attack.

After which his father did not take care of himself and did not get any timely checkups. Dheeraj says that I still remember the day when I was most emotional. 

I was very emotional when my father was going for an operation. But my brother took care of everything. Dheeraj says that I started learning to act slowly.

He says first I am learning a lot from Pracheen and then Sudeep and now Manit. Dheeraj considers Pracheen, Manit, and Sudeep as his elder brother.

Dheeraj’s sterling start from there when he came to know that his first show-off in 1 year is going to happen. But then he did not know the meaning of show off.

What Dheeraj didn’t know was that after the show went off, he had to find another show and audition again. They thought that you got the first show in the industry and you became a star.

But after the show was off, he came to know that he had to call again to audition and find a new job. He came to know all these things only after the first show and from there his struggle started.

Dheeraj was seen in the character of Veer in Naagin Season 5 from the beginning. But later, instead of Dheeraj, Sharad Malhotra played the role of Veer. Dheeraj has also worked on many music albums.

Like Byah, Mera Dil, Humko Tum Mil Gaye, and Jogia. Dheeraj has also hosted many TV shows like Saregamapa hosted in 2019. She has also hosted Dance India Dance Season 7.

Dheeraj says I have learned a lot from Vinny and she has always been giving me good advice. She always makes me strong. Dheeraj is more famous as Karan Luthra than his real name.
