When it came to admission to the college, his mother alone could not afford the college fees. Bharti’s mother used to work in a blanket-making factory for which she used to get 50 or 55 rupees a day.
Seeing the poor condition of the house, both Bharti’s elder brother and sister supported their younger sister Bharti in completing her graduation by not taking admission in the college themselves.
Bharti was very good in academics and she has also been a national-level shooter and archer. Bharti’s college life was very simple, most of her focus was on sports and education. Recalling the past days, Bharti says that taking admission to college was a big achievement for me.
Since childhood, he had thought that if he had to financially support his family, then this opportunity would have to be taken advantage of. At the time of college, Bharti’s dream was to represent India in the Olympics.
Bharti was overweight since childhood. When he was born, his weight was 5kg, which is not the case for normal children.
Because of being overweight, he used to be very embarrassed in school and college. Sometimes she used to cry throughout the night after listening to everyone. But ignoring all this, he focused more on his family, study, and sports.
During his graduation, he represented Punjab in pistol shooting. Not only this, but he has also won many titles at the state and national levels. Due to his good performance in sports, he got admission to Punjab Technical University through a scholarship.
After getting admission, Bharti did post-graduation in history. Later, she wanted to make her career in shooting itself. But his family was unable to bear the cost of his training in those days, due to which his dream was shattered.
Growing up with financial constraints, Bharti decided to try her career in comedy. Were there only male contestants in stand-up comedy at that time?

Bharti used to joke a little bit with her friends only. Seeing which his friends suggested to him that you should give an audition. Bharti was called to a hotel for an audition.
He says that at that time there was such a belief in the society that it is not safe to go to the hotel, it may have been called for some wrongdoing. When Bharti went to audition, she took her friends along with her.
There he auditioned, after taking the audition, he was told that you go now, we will tell you later whether you have been selected or not. Bharti left from there 2 months passed, no call came. After 2 months Bharti got a call from a company.
The person who made the call was talking in English, so Bharti thought that there was a phone call from an egg seller. That’s why he disconnected the call but then the call came again. He explained that you have been selected in the audition you gave.
This was the turning point of Bharti’s life, after which she got an opportunity for the first time in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge show where she got the love and support of the audience.
Bharti was the second runner-up in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 4, Followed by 2009 he also worked in Comedy Circus Ka Tadka 3, then Bharti got a chance to work in Comedy Circus’s Mahasangram, Comedy Circus Superstars, Comedy Circus’s Jadoo, Comedy Circus’s Tansen.
Bharti hosts many TV shows and at the same time, she is seen laughing at everyone with her comedy in The Kapil Sharma Show. Kapil and Bharti are very good friends. When there was controversy regarding Kapil Sharma’s show, Bharti fully supported Kapil.
